The commercials won a Silver Addy in the television campaign category. The campaign, entitled 'Meet the Mets', was created to introduce the team's new affiliation with the New York Mets. The campaign was shot on film to mimic old news reel footage from the 1940's and incorporated a vintage recording of "Meet the Mets", the New York Met's original theme song. The commercials served up a dose of nostalgia while embracing the roots of the Sand Gnats and Grayson Stadium.
